The Third Generation of Nash Sisters Arise

There was no Nash family, as far as I know, until Grandma Florence and Grandaddy James made one. My aunt Dianne was their first baby. That started it all in 1908.

When Grandaddy was killed in the War. The first one. Grandma Flo had four daughters to raise alone.

Dianne, Ethel, Annie, and Caroline were the official Nash Sisters. Grandma made sure the girls became what she expected. They must be kind, loving, and feel responsible to the good people who would later join the family.

My momma Ethel and her sisters lived up to Grandma’s teachings making it possible for the Nash Sisters to endure heartache and overcome any trauma they would face in life. More than anything the Nash Sisters must learn to form an unbreakable bond for the generations that would follow.

I am Marie Nash Roberts. One of the 3rd generation Nash Sisters and proud of it.

Remarkable at 300 is the fourth novel in The Nash Sisters series. It will be published in the fall of 2026.

In retirement, my fingers on the keyboard began to write fiction. The stories that come from my head and heart to the keyboard are historical fiction about family, friends, and the resilience of people. Check out The Nash Sisters series of novels available on Amazon.
